Last day at Disneyland...

On Monday we spent our last full day in California back at Disneyland.

It was fun to go back through and hit rides we missed the first day and re-do favorites too. The first thing on our list was Jedi Training for Ashton.

We made signs at the hotel that morning to hold up, and we got there half an hour early to get a spot front and center all in the hopes that he would get called up to do the training.  

I loved that he was crossing all of his fingers hoping so bad to be chosen :)

So after we baked in the sun for about half an hour, the loud Star Wars music came on and the Jedi Master made his entrance...

 It is all so fun...everyone gets into their characters so well! Not long after he came out, the Master starts calling kids up...Ashton and I were on our feet jumping up and down waving the signs and I don't know who was more excited when they called him up, him or ME!!! I was so so excited for him!

After all of the kids are chosen, they get them dressed in their Jedi cloaks and give them their lightsabers and start their training.

Ashton took it very seriously :)

  Once they practiced a couple times, all of a sudden Darth Vader appears, then Darth Maul...

 All of the smaller kids get to fight Darth Vader and Ashton's group of bigger kids gets to fight Darth Maul.

 I loved watching Ashton doing this and imagining how cool he thought it was! He spends lots of time at home in his own little world with his lightsaber and like lots of little boys just LOVES everything Star Wars :)

It was a great start to our day...so fun!

Then we did the Nemo Submarine...another fun one that we'd missed the first day.

 We loved Mr. Toad's wild ride, it was pretty cute :)

 Ashton got lost for about 30 seconds in this little place when he wandered out a different door...he freaked out when he couldn't find us!

 We walked through this house of the future place and Ashton did this age progression thing...crazy! 

 One more try at getting a good picture in front of the castle...top cut off again! Oh well...

Ashton was so sad to leave Disneyland on our last day...

We let them stay up late swimming one last night, then it was off to bed. 
One more night to sleep at the hotel...so tired!
