Goodbye blue furniture and bathroom makeover...

A few weeks ago Aunt Kelli came down for the day with Grandma's horse trailer to pick up our downstairs furniture that we decided to give her for her new place in Colorado. By the way congratulations Aunt Kelli on your new job!!! We are so proud of you!
Anyway I always knew at some point we would get rid of the furniture that has been in our basement. It is the furniture that we first bought together for our apartment when we were engaged. Interestingly enough way back then before Kelli had even seen our furniture...she had picked out the exact same furniture! Only she just got the love seat and a matching chair. So at the time when she was traveling around a lot as a nurse she decided to get rid of her storage unit and ended up giving us the chair and a couple of tables since it matched what we already had. And she got rid of her love seat. So now all these years later, she got her chair  and tables back and also inherited our couch and love seat.
Sooooo....we said our goodbyes to the furniture that we have sat on, slept on, jumped on, played on, and made many forts out of over the years. It was a little sad, but we were so glad to pass it on to Aunt Kelli and help her furnish her new place in Cortez. Plus it gives me an excuse to finally get new furniture :)
Saying goodbye...
We fit it all into the trailer!
I also gave her all of the stuff out of the boys/upstairs bathroom that we'd had since we got married.
Definitely time for an update!
Here is the new bathroom that I finished while the boys were in Price :) It's still missing a couple things, but almost done.
Now we just need to decide if we will move all of our upstairs furniture downstairs and get new stuff for upstairs, or just re-do the downstairs...

How cute my miniature horse trailer looked getting loaded up with your furniture. :) By the way it looks really good in Kelli's house in Colorado also. :) And your newly redone bathroom looks really good too!! :)
