Trampoline!

Well...we finally did it. We've gone back and forth about getting a trampoline, and this year we finally decided to do it. So a few Fridays ago in the middle of the day I asked the boys if they wanted to gather up all of their money and see how much they had, then I would tell them what they could put it towards if they wanted to. So off they went to count all of their money and I think we were all surprised when they came up with $133.00!!!  That included all of the money out of their wallets and piggy banks as well as they had earned from their Koolaid and Cookies stand. They had fun gathering it all and counting it and were so excited to put it all towards a tramp!

 So that night when Lars got home from work, we went and picked it out at Al's Sporting Goods and brought it home and started the LONG process of setting it up. Thank goodness for my awesome friend/backyard neighbor Lindee who came over and helped with the whole thing. I bet she regretted poking her head over the fence just as we were getting it out of the box :) haha...

Anyway we got done at about 11:00 that night after the boys were in bed. But they were SO excited the next morning! I don't think I've ever seen Ashton move so fast to get his chores done, breakfast eaten and teeth brushed! Gunnar woke up a little later and got his stuff done, so he could get out and jump too. They jumped, and jumped and jumped that day! And have enjoyed it lots of days since then...

These were my favorite pictures, when they got their ninja costumes on and went out and jumped for awhile...haha :)

It has turned out to be a fun purchase and fits perfectly in the spot out back where the swingset has been.
