The first BiG SnOw!

It's always so fun!
Ashton and Gunnar were so excited last week to look out and see a "big pile of snow" in our yard. It was Monday, so I had a million other things I needed to be doing, but when Ashton got his snow clothes on, of course Gunnar wanted to go out too. So I dropped my toilet scrubber (gladly), got Gunnar all dressed and took them out. We had fun shoveling, then Ashton and Gunnar played for close to 2 hours in it before they were ready to come in.

Loving it!As I pull out old clothes (and snowsuits in this case) of Ashton's...it always takes me back to when he wore it and it seems like yesterday when he looked like this...
Cute boy!
It doesn't seem like Gunnar should be big enough for it yet, but it fits perfect this year. Sure...you can eat some on the first day :)

My new happy place...

Yep you guessed it...
It's my laundry room!
Haha! Okay not really, but it does give me a happy feeling to walk into it now that it is so organized! For awhile one of the things on my long list of house projects has been to put up cabinets in our laundry room, so I told Lars last week that I wanted to do it. I think he realized I was serious when he came home on Monday and I had the room all cleaned out, and the shelves torn off the walls! I loved how surprised he was that I actually did it & was able to get the screws out of the walls! That night we moved the washer and dryer out and cleaned the room out really good, then the next night we got paint, then Wednesday morning I painted it, that night we went and got the cabinets and Thursday night Lars and a guy from work hung them up. Gunnar and Ashton loved playing in them before they were up on the wall...It looks a thousand times better than it did before. I was so sick of looking at all of the stuff on the shelves! I wish I had a before picture.
Wait...no I don't, just imagine shelves piled with stuff.
Now we have so much more storage. Love it!

Before it got cold...

Lars got off work early one night about a month ago and we took the boys fishing out at Mantua. We ended up having to walk forever to get to a good spot clear around the back side of the lake, but it was fun to get out. Ashton got bored pretty quick when we weren't catching any fish, but he and Gunnar always find stuff to entertain themselves when we go places like that.
(Like climbing on big sharp rocks...)
And eating lots of snacks with Aunt Kelli...I think Lars caught one fish and right as we were getting ready to leave and as my camera was getting ready to die, I caught this one.
Good times!

Fun little photo shoot...

My friend Erica was debating about getting some family pictures taken this year, so I told her I would take some for her if she wanted and she took me up on my offer. We went out on Sunday afternoon for a couple hours and had a lot of fun! At least I did :)
Glad we went before this cold weather hit!

I could take pictures of these girls all day...aren't they gorgeous? Can't imagine where they get it from... Thanks Erica for giving me more practice!
Here are just a few of my favorites....
This was right as we were losing our light....I love it!

Lady Antebellum!!!!!!!!

Yes that title needs that many exclamation points...and a few more!!! They are my absolute favorite and if someone asked me who I'd like to see in concert more than anyone else, Lady Antebellum would win hands down.
So when I heard that they were coming to Salt Lake, I said I was going no matter who went with me. My sister was with me when I heard they were coming so she said she'd go with me & I easily talked Brianne into it also.
A few days before the concert Kelli decided she didn't care too much about going so she sold her ticket to my friend Randi.
The concert was at The Rail in Salt Lake. I'd never been there or even heard of the place, but it's right next to Gateway and was kind of a cool place. All general admission...so standing room only, but it was SO fun! We were pretty close and they put on a great show. Ashton and Gunnar LOVE their song "American Honey", so I took a little video of it for them. (it just takes way too long to upload it onto here..)

David Nail opened up for them...I know nobody knows who he is, but I've had his song "Red Light" as my ringtone on my phone for 6 months or so. So it was fun to get to see him too.Now that I've seen them, I can be done with concerts for awhile ;)

Thanks for a fun night out girls!
