Yesterday we went to the pool...Ashton loves the water and seems to have no fear. I didn't take Gunnar in because they now make you have them in a swim diaper plus the little plastic pants which I have neither of in the tiny size and didn't want to buy for one occasion. Especially since I heard they charge $8.00 for one pair at the pool!! Not that he even knew the difference-he slept the whole time. Luckily we went with a couple of my friends and their kids and they were so nice to help me keep an eye on Ashton. At one point I saw Ashton jump and dunk his head under the water and flail around. He's yet to have any swimming lessons and I think we've missed our opportunity this year, so that was kind of surprising to see him do that. When my friend who was watching him came back to sit down she said he came out of the water and said-Hey did you see me? I was swimming!
These pictures are actually from when we went a couple weeks ago...I didn't have my camera with me yesterday.
Oh- the funniest thing was when I was packing everything up to leave I see Ashton staring at this girl who was laying out on a lawn chair next to us...pretty soon he goes up to her and asks "why do you have that thing in your belly button?" She had a belly button ring and he just couldn't contain his curiosity I guess! So of course I go over and apologize to her and she just laughed and told me how cute he was to ask. She told him that it's just like an earing for your belly. Funny!

Note to self: Do more sit-ups!

Yeah so i totally figured you had forgotton all about me. geez. It was so fun to talk to you. Seriously has it been 4 years ago? crazy. Your kids are so adorable, and it is nice to see that someone else has a son that is bursting with energy and drives me crazy at times. I love that we can now stay in touch.
So funny how kids are so honest and curious. They say and ask the things that adults only think about. I love it!! And note to you- you look AWESOME!!!
