Ashton's British Challenger Soccer Camp...

Ashton had so much fun at his weeklong soccer camp that he went to a couple weeks ago in Price with his cousin Hunter. Lars and I were at home, but we would call and talk to him each day after it was done and he always sounded so excited about it. One of the days we asked him how it was and he said "Awesome!" Then he said..."The cool thing about it Mom, is you don't just go play soccer there, they actually teach you stuff!"
I was glad we got to go with him on his last day and see some of the stuff they got to do. The coaches made it so fun and silly for them. All with their British accents. Here they had to do all sorts of things while linking arms with the other kids. Like putting their heads on their balls...
They were all separated into different groups each representing a different country. Ashton was on Team Italy, so the night before his last day, we made him an Italy t-shirt...
This was the coach of his age group...Coach Barry. He was really funny and Ashton loved him...
Here he and Hunter are with Coach Kat and Coach Barry...
These 2 are best buddies...Ashton LOVES going to Price and playing with Hunter. And they play so good together for hours!
We are so grateful for Nana and Papa watching the boys for that week while we got stuff done at home. Especially with all of the sickness! Gunnar really was sick off and on all week and we felt so bad not being there for him and to help out. We kept being on the verge of driving down to get him, but then he'd perk up a little. Then Ashton got sick...just for one day, then Nana did, then Aunt Shelley did... Anyway Thank you Nana and Papa for dealing with all of it and for everything else!
Oh and that next week they did a little article in the paper there about the camp and they used a picture of Ashton...he thought that was so cool to see his picture in the paper!
