Labor Day Weekend campout...

I am really struggling to find the time to blog these days, but am actually home for a couple hours before it's time to go get Gunnar, so I'll try to do a couple quick posts.

We ended up camping for just one night over Labor Day weekend...we had thought about going for the whole weekend, but I just couldn't get in gear and get everything ready to go. It is always a lot of work!

So we just went up to a spot where some of our friends were camping and actually ended up staying in their trailer with them because it was cold and rainy and we didn't want to set up our tent in the rain. And it turned out that that was a good choice, because it did rain hard all that night!

And it was fun to sleep in their trailer with them...good thing it has lots of room!

 And these two had each other to go hunting with :) We laughed and laughed at this picture because of how big Lars looks and how small Chad looks next to him, even while he's standing on the 4 wheeler!

And we played lots of cards and laughed a lot!
Just not during this very serious game...

So proud of themselves for building their own fire in their little tree fort...we made them put it out immediately :)

Such a fun weekend with fun friends and we were grateful they shared their trailer with us & saved us from hours of drying out our stuff had we stayed in our tent!
