Aggie Homecoming Parade and Game!

Last Saturday we had a fun busy day that started with the homecoming parade at 10:00. We hadn't been to a parade since this one last year. Always lots of fun! And way too much candy and other stuff
brought home.

Something we've never gotten at a parade before...yes he got roasted marshmallows!
Ashton and Gunnar were invited to ride on this float, but decided they'd rather stay on the ground where the candy is...
After the parade we ran home and got Ashton changed for his soccer game, then went out and watched that, then a few hours later we went up to a tailgate party before the game...
Gunnar being really dramatic about not wanting to eat his carrots...haha :)
Then we got ready to run across the field with the junior Aggies...

Taking some pictures while we waited...
Ashton and I were both surprised at how many players there actually are on the team!
 Big Blue...
Oh and the game was a "white-out", kind of fun to look out and see everyone wearing white instead of the usual navy blue...

I love this picture...Ashton was looking through his binoculars trying to find our friends and Gunnar was looking everywhere else :) Exactly what I do at football or basketball games...no matter what I do, I just can't concentrate on the game!
It was fun to go to a game, but I think we're good for awhile now...it was long and really uncomfortable seats...it was sold out, so we were packed in with no room!
We left a little early so we wouldn't have to deal with traffic and Gunnar couldn't stay awake any longer...
Lights out!
