First time on the boat this year...

Last Sunday we decided to load up the boat and take it out right after church and Ashton's last church class for this year.
We made it up to Treasureton by about 1:30 or 2:00. It had been so windy in Logan when we were leaving, we thought we might get up there and turn around and come right back if it was as windy up there, but it ended up being really nice!

 The wind would come up a little every once in awhile, but overall it was great.
I loved these perfect puffy clouds :)

The boys had fun playing under a big blanket almost the whole time we were out there. Sometimes they have fun trying to catch fish, but lots of times they just really don't care. That day Lars told them they could bring their ds's. We've never done that before and probably won't again. (because we felt like really bad parents letting them play video games on a fun outdoor activity!)

But they sure had fun!
And they did come out for awhile ;)

While they were playing, I was almost falling asleep for awhile because we weren't catching any fish. But then I started to get some bites, then we both ended up catching quite a few...11 or 12 between us. And they were big ones...

My arm was starting to hurt from fighting them & was definitely sore the next day!

Anyway, fun to get out!
